Writing and Media Services
Outside of broadcasting, I provide a range of writing and media services for sporting organisations, events, and media outlets.
My work focuses on telling authentic stories, connecting teams with their communities, and presenting sport in a way that resonates with both dedicated fans and new audiences.
Services include:
• Tournament and event coverage
• Social media management
• Interviews and player profiles
• Article writing: features, previews, match reports, short-form and long-form content
• Ghost writing for traditional media outlets
• Media management and press relations
• Earned media strategy
• Sponsorship and partner content management
• Podcast production and hosting
• Broadcast and live stream management
Team Australia at the World Baseball Classic
Recently, I led media operations for Team Australia at the 2026 World Baseball Classic in Tokyo, Japan.
In this role, I managed the team’s social media channels (@TeamAustraliaBaseball), handled international media requests, ghost wrote stories for Australian media outlets, produced feature articles, and helped connect the team with fans both in Australia and internationally.
The campaign generated record web traffic, more than 60 million social media impressions, and a significant increase in fan engagement during the tournament.
On Instagram, you can see the style of posting by scrolling back between February 14 and March 14, 2026. You can view an archive of stories at: www.baseball.com.au/wbc.
I have held similar roles for several national team events, including the 2023 World Baseball Classic, the 2024 Premier12, and multiple Team Australia tournaments since 2023.
A few stories I particularly enjoyed writing include:
• The Shoe Finally Fits: Josh Hendrickson's journey to the national team
• Absurd Odds: The incredible coincidence that brings the MacDonald brothers together in Fuchu
• Australia vs Japan: The biggest sporting event most Aussies have no idea about
• Australia upsets Chinese Taipei: Just don't tell the players it was a 'shock'
• Mitch Neunborn kisses a pendant in honour of his late mum
Tournament Coverage Example: 2026 Australian Youth Championships
One area I am particularly passionate about is elevating coverage of national championships and grassroots sport in Australia.
At the 2026 Australian Youth Baseball Championships (U16 and U18), I led coverage of the ten-day tournament across multiple platforms.
The campaign generated:
• 5.3 million views across META platforms
• Nearly 400,000 Australian accounts reached
• The most watched non-ABL game in the history of Baseball+, the league’s live streaming platform
The objective was to deliver meaningful coverage for players, families, and the Australian baseball community while expanding the reach of the sport.

Archived broadcasts are available on Baseball+, and you can scroll back to early January 2026 on Instagram to see the style of tournament coverage I produce.
